How time flies! Coming back from the English corner, I was very tired, but I was happy.
Before the English Summer Camp had begun, I thought that these 20 days would be a very easy time and I would have a good rest after the university entrance exam, but later, I found that I was totally wrong.
The room where I live is not what I expected. From the timetable, I knew that I could do nothing but study. Even after class I couldn’t play my favorite badminton. Oh my god! To tell you the truth, I was unhappy at the very beginning.
But later I felt much better. To my surprise, we have three excellent foreign teachers. They are Patti, John and Jane. All of them are foreign teachers with rich experience. Their classes are lively. There are all together 30 students in our class. We talk with each other in English when we are free. Thanks to my classmates and my teachers, especially Helen, from whom I get help, now I feel much better.
Besides having classes, the school also provides us with colorful after-class activities, such as the English corner held tonight. We played a game called buyers and sellers. Half of us were buyers and the other half of us were sellers. We buyers had to go around buying all the things on a list sent to us. Having found what we wanted, we had to persuade the sellers to sell the things to us. Even though the game didn’t last for a long time, we actually had a good time. We practiced our oral English well tonight.
I begin to enjoy the Summer Camp now. I wish all of us could study hard and play well during the 20 days here!
