Programmes of Chinese Language
1. Long-/Short-term Chinese Language Training Programmes
Introductory, Elementary, Intermediate and Advanced Levels.
Application is accepted throughout the year. Elementary or above-leveled students are eligible for immediate enrolment. Flexible term setup is available upon individual needs: Length of term may vary from 4 weeks, 8 weeks, half year, 1 year to several years.
Tuition fee:
1 Year: RMB17, 200; Half Year: RMB8, 600;
8 Weeks: RMB4, 700; 4 Weeks: RMB2, 600
Application fee: RMB300-500
Teaching material fee: Charged based on actual cost.
2. Intensive Chinese Training Programmes (for Winter and Summer Vacation)
These are 4-week programmes beginning in January or July each year. Participants at Introductory, Elementary or Intermediate levels will take intensive courses of Communicative Chinese under respective programme framework.
Tuition fee: RMB2, 600; Application fee: RMB300;
Teaching material fee: Charged based on actual cost
3. Content of the Programmes
The courses consist of Mandarin Listening, Speaking, Reading, Intensive Reading and Writing corresponding to the levels of the students. These full time classes run from Monday to Friday, 8:30 - 11:30 in the morning.
Undergraduate Programmes
1. Undergraduate Programme of Chinese Language:
This is a 2-year programme open for high-school graduates with the qualification of HSK6 or above. After 2 years of study, students obtaining due credits and having passed thesis defense will be qualified for graduation. Eligible graduates will be awarded Bachelor degree.

2. All-English Teaching Programmes:
All-English or bilingual teaching is adopted for the core courses for programmes of International Business, International Trade, Business Administration, Marketing and International Finance.

Application deadline:August 20 every year.
3. Other disciplines:
Various departments in GDUFS welcome international applicants for undergraduate programmes: English, Japanese, German, French, Russian, Spanish, Italian, Thai, Indonesian/Malay, Vietnamese£¬Korean, International Business, Translation and Interpreting Studies, Chinese Language and Literature, Law, Diplomacy, International Politics, Public Administration, and Applied Psychology on North Campus; International Economy and Trade, Finance, Insurance, Marketing, Accounting, Business Administration, Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Logistics, Computer Science and Technology, Statistics, Information Management and System, Journalism, Advertising, Music and Performing, and Art and Design on South Campus.
Above-mentioned are 4-year credit-based undergraduate programmes. Eligible graduates can receive Higher Education Certificate and Bachelor Degree from China¡¯s Ministry of Education.

Postgraduate Programmes

Exchange Programmes with Foreign Universities and Organizations
1) Cooperating with foreign universities through mutual agreement as to provide training programmes on Chinese language and culture for relevant exchange students.
2) Arranging training programmes on Chinese Language, Trade and Culture for members of various organizations while liaisoning training schedule, method and detailed programme setup. |
